Do you need to lose belly fat quickly because you have an event to go to and you haven’t got the money to buy something new? Is your wardrobe sufficient enough to dress you for that event but your belly isn't allowing you to fit into it?
Do you want to lose belly fat? I know I do, but can you lose belly fatquickly if you have Diabetes? I have lost quite a bit of weight but my tummy is still a problem. If you need to lose weight fast but it's mostly belly fat then follow this weight loss diet. It's an easy medical weight loss plan that I think is best for a Diabetic diet.
I need to lose my belly fat now because I want to be healthy and fit into all of my clothes. So, I did some research, and here's what I found out.
I need to lose belly fat or drastically get it down. Can it be done even though you have Diabetes like myself?
The current situation as it is today with COVID-19 out there and with us in lockdown is serious. Also, there isn't any point in buying clothing online because I have nowhere to go to show them off, so I guess I need to fit into all of the clothes I already have in my wardrobe, and that means keeping my weight down. Don't you agree?
So, what do I do? Well... I did some research and here is what I found out. I am going to adopt these changes from today and hope they work. I have already lost 3 stone and my belly has reduced considerably, but I want to reduce it even more. I have a dress that I need to get into but my belly flab shows up too much in it. I need to combat this problem. So, I will adopt all of the 13 changes I have listed below and hope they work for me.
Also, did you know that having a flabby belly is not good for Diabetes? High levels of glucose make you store fat around your middle. So, eating the right foods regularly will keep your insulin in check.
Here are some of the changes to adopt if you want to get rid of your belly fat or reduce it drastically within 7 days whether you have Diabetes or not.
1. Don't Eat in Between Meals
Drink Green tea or Oolong tea instead to combat hunger pangs. Green tea and Oolong tea are good for Diabetes, which I have. It can lower your blood sugar levels if they are high. If you are going to eat something, then only eat a protein snack like low-fat cheese or some almonds or an organic apple between 3 pm and 4 pm. Eating at this time will keep blood sugar levels in check.
2. Eat a Banana Before a Meal
It helps to diminish water retention. A study found that women who ate a small banana twice a day as a pre-meal snack for two months reduced their belly by 50 percent! Cut back on sugar and carbs elsewhere in your diet before adopting this one and if you are diabetic check your blood sugar levels before eating two bananas per day. One way to do it is to have half of a banana and the second half later.
3. Drink Green Tea Before Exercising

4. Fizzy Drinks
Do not drink diet fizzy drinks or any kind of fizzy drink as these can bloat your belly quite a bit. They are not good for your Diabetes so cut them out.
5. Protein
Eat a high-protein diet. Protein is good for reducing belly fat. I have been eating lots of protein since I found out I had Diabetes. Protein can lower your glucose levels.
6. Alcohol
Do not drink alcohol. Try it without it for 7 days.
7. Small Portions
Eat smaller meals rather than 3 big meals throughout the day.
8. Walnuts
Eat walnuts as they do not store fat in the belly and they are good for lowering blood glucose. Only eat a handful of them per day.
9. Whole Grains
Eat whole-grain foods like wholemeal bread and brown rice instead of white bread and white rice. This is especially better for diabetics because whole grains are a source of vitamins B and E.
10. Pepper
Sprinkle pepper on all your meals. Pepper has a powerful compound in it called Piperine. It's been around for centuries in Eastern medicine to treat multiple health conditions including inflammation and tummy troubles. Recent studies have found that Piperine may also have the ability to decrease inflammation and interfere with the new fat cells, which will set off a reaction called adipogenesis. This will result in a decrease in waist size, body fat, and cholesterol levels. So, get the pepper out today!
11. Exercise
Make sure you do at least 60 sit-ups or stomach crunches per day or some kind of tummy exercise. Boxing cardio is good for the stomach muscles. When you throw punches with weights you're working your core in a way that helps to flatten stomach muscles. Twisting your torso works all the ab muscles too.
12. Water
Drink two to three liters of water per day. Water is best to drink for all Diabetics as it can get rid of excess glucose in the body.
13. Cucumber
Eat cucumber. It can help reduce your belly fat considerably. Here are some of the reasons why it can help :
a) It detoxes and reduces belly bloat
b) It soothes stomach irritation
c) It contains zero fat
d) It lowers blood glucose
e) It lowers cholesterol levels
You can make a great cucumber juicer with the following recipe:
Use:
1 cucumber, chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon of grated ginger
1 cup of water
Blend these together and drink once a day.
So, give it a go and leave a comment if you were successful with it.
Good luck!
